So, what exactly is a Fishery Business License or commonly abbreviated as SIUP?
Fishery Business License (SIUP) is a written permit that must be owned by a fishing company to be able to conduct a fishery business using the production facilities listed in the permit.
Fisheries Business Permit (SIUP) in fish processing now, the arrangement of the procedure is easier by using an electronic licensing system or called OSS.
So, what needs to be prepared and how is the arrangement of the procedure?

- Certificate of Eligibility for Building Functions
- Trading Business Permit (SIUP)
- Certificate of Business Activities carried out
- Certificate of Facilities/Infrastructure owned
- Certificate of active production process
- Power of attorney stamped 6000 (if authorized)
- Procedure for managing SIUP for Fish Processing
- Business actors submit an application for the issuance of SIUP along with the required documents as above, addressed to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries
- One Stop Service Officer (PTSP) through the https://www.oss.kkp.go.id page by uploading the required documents and submitting the required documents hardfile.
- Based on the application, the Director General of KKP assigns a Technical Verification and Evaluation Team for the Fish Processing Sector to complete the required documents and commitments since the receipt of the complete application, the results of which are approval or rejection.
- If the results of verification and evaluation of the completeness of the required documents are incomplete, the Director General shall issue a rejection letter accompanied by reasons for rejection in the event that the results of the administrative examination are incomplete, invalid, and/or incorrect.
- If the results of the inspection of the completeness of the required documents are complete, the SIUP Technical Evaluation and Verification Team for the Fish Processing Sector shall evaluate the requirements and commitment documents;
- If the results of verification and evaluation of the completeness of the required documents are declared complete, valid, and correct, the Director General of KKP shall issue SIUP for Fish Processing Sector.
- The technical verification and evaluation team of SIUP in the field of Fish Processing shall notify the OSS system in the form of issuing SIUP in the field of Fish Processing.
